Join the VAEFF Team

The Video Art & Experimental Film Festival (VAEFF) is seeking creative and motivated interns, assistants, and volunteers to join our team for our 16th annual edition, taking place at Cinema Village in New York City, November 13–15, 2026.

We are currently accepting applications for four open positions:

Brand Design & Web
Social Media & Content
Community & Outreach
Special Programming

Each role offers hands-on experience working closely with the VAEFF team in the lead-up to the festival. Most responsibilities can be completed remotely with flexible hours.

You do not need to be a student to apply. College credit is available for eligible students.

Choose the position that best matches your skills and interests, then complete the short application below.

I especially prefer “skills and interests” over “interests and experience,” because some applicants may have strong skills but limited formal experience.
